Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited (CBG) has strengthened its commitment to making banking accessible to communities across Ghana with the official opening of a new branch in Hohoe, located in the Volta Region. The Hohoe Branch becomes the Bank’s second branch in the region and is strategically positioned to serve individuals, businesses, and institutions within Hohoe and its surrounding areas.

Addressing guests at the opening ceremony, the Managing Director of CBG, Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, emphasized that the establishment of the Hohoe Branch reaffirms the Bank’s pledge to enhance accessibility to banking services while supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He described Hohoe as a vibrant commercial hub with significant business activity, making it a fitting location for CBG’s expansion.

Mr. Addo highlighted the importance of the new branch in advancing CBG’s mission of offering innovative electronic banking solutions and delivering outstanding customer service. He noted that these qualities have positioned CBG as one of the most trusted banks in Ghana within just five years of operation.

A Board Member of CBG, Madam Maureen Abla Amematekpor, reassured customers of CBG’s reliability and commitment to serving as a dependable financial partner. She emphasized the Bank’s dedication to understanding customers’ needs and offering tailored solutions to support their financial goals.

The Paramount Chief of the Gbi Traditional Area, Togbega Gabusu VII, encouraged residents to take full advantage of the services offered by CBG. He urged the staff of the Bank to deliver exceptional customer service and pledged the support of the traditional council to ensure the success of the branch.

The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries including the District Chief Executive for Afadzato South, Hon. James Etornam Flolu, and the Municipal Chief Executive for Kpando, Hon. Geoffrey K. Badasu. Senior executives of CBG were also present, including the Director of Operations, Mr. Samuel Barketey; Director of Retail and Business Banking, Mr. Emmanuel Nikoi; General Manager of Business Banking, Mr. Michael Kwansah; General Manager of Consumer Banking, Mr. Joseph Opoku; and General Manager of Distribution, Governance and Branch Experience, Mr. Edward Antwi, along with other members of management.
