Consolidated Bank Ghana LTD (CBG), in its continuous effort to extend banking services to Ghanaians across the country, has officially opened a new branch in Navrongo in the Upper East Region. The launch marks another significant milestone in the Bank’s commitment to improving financial inclusion and bringing convenient banking closer to communities nationwide.

The expansion of CBG’s branch network aligns with the Bank’s long-term vision of making financial services accessible to all Ghanaians, regardless of location. With the establishment of the Navrongo branch, CBG aims to support economic growth, facilitate seamless banking, and empower individuals, SMEs, and businesses within Navrongo and nearby communities.

The Managing Director of CBG, Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, expressed enthusiasm about the new branch opening. He noted that CBG was established with three core objectives: providing a differentiated banking experience, standing firmly with customers, and driving innovation within the banking sector. He emphasized that the staff and management of CBG remain passionate and dedicated to delivering exceptional service and assured customers that the Navrongo branch would provide an even more enhanced banking experience.

Mr. Addo also highlighted the strong presence of SMEs and agricultural businesses in the region, expressing excitement about the Bank’s proximity to these key sectors and the opportunities it presents for deeper collaboration and financial support.

The Deputy Managing Director of Operations, Mr. Thairu Ndungu, underscored that CBG’s expansion is not only through physical branches but also through technology-driven solutions. He noted that the Bank offers training and capacity-building initiatives for small businesses, empowering them to grow, expand their markets, and take advantage of opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

The Paramount Chief of the Navrongo Traditional Area, Navro-Pio Pe Denis Aneakwoa Balinia Adda Asagpaare II, commended CBG for establishing a branch in the area. He encouraged Bank officials to engage local residents, especially market women, to foster business relationships.
