Ernest Mawuli Agbesi is a seasoned Ghanaian banker and financial executive with over four decades of progressive experience in banking, audit, and institutional leadership. He holds an MBA in Strategic/Consultancy Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of Ghana.

Ernest has served in top executive positions, including Managing Director/CEO roles at GCB Bank Limited and the National Investment Bank, where he led major institutional reforms and operational improvements. His expertise spans operations, business development, credit management, and corporate governance.

He has also held key board roles in institutions such as Ghana International Bank (London), Nestlé Ghana Ltd, and GCNet, and has provided impactful leadership at uniBank Ghana and the International Commercial Bank. Ernest began his professional career with the Ghana Audit Service.

Widely respected for his integrity, strategy execution capability, and governance insight, Ernest continues to contribute to national development through his work on academic councils and financial boards.
